Live To Give 2013 Pub Quiz in Wandsworth Town
After a phenomenal 2012, South West London Estate Agents James Pendleton’s LivetoGive team have grand plans for 2013 and what better way to start the year than with a well-loved fundraising staple: a charity pub quiz!
LivetoGive’s pub quizzes are renowned for their fun themed question rounds and enthusiastic support from local businesses. The team came up with four rounds of challenging questions, including two rounds on James Pendleton and the last decade to mark the company’s tenth anniversary.
As the ten teams converged the atmosphere was tense and excitable; not a surprise given the fantastic array of prizes on offer in the half-time raffle and the £100 cash prize generously donated by solicitors Emin Read as a prize for the top quizzers. The raffle prizes in full were:
- An hour long massage from The Natural Health Practitioner
- Dinner for four at Franco Manca
- A luxurious wash and blow dry at Orao salon
- A decadent Space NK pamper and champagne evening
- A box of delicious handmade cupcakes by James Pendleton’s resident baker Kelly Willingham
- La Cuisiniere exclusive kitchenware by Joseph & Joseph
- A fabulous bouquet of flowers from Ultraviolet
- An Easter hamper packed full of delicious goodies
- Tickets to see the London Broncos
- Use of a Mini Moke for a sunny Sunday
The overall winners of this battle of brain power and a showcase of local entrepreneurship were ‘We Quiz Here’ who scored a magnificent 32 points, all in the name of charity! Raffle prizes were a great success, with over 200 tickets bought and the total raised for the evening reached a phenomenal £600!
