Summer Party
In the summer of 2010 the James Pendleton team took part in a fancy dress charity treasure hunt. The team were divided into 7 themed groups and were given just three hours to complete a number of tasks in full. Excitement levels were high as the teams raced frantically around the local area finding clues, solving riddles and collecting evidence as quickly as they could. Fulfilling each objective won points, and as we all know 'Points win Prizes!!'
One of the more interesting challenges involved each team having to collect a rare artefact from the River Thames – the more random the better! There certainly were a few bizarre objects plucked from the river banks! Perhaps the most memorable find was the traffic cone brought back by winning team 'Pendletons are Go'!
Once the hunt was completed, the teams met at the County Arms on Trinity Road, where the winners were announced and rewarded with a medal and a cash prize! The JP team then came together for a celebration which lasted well into the night! The event was a lot of fun and raised an amazing £2,000 for the LivetoGive charity fund.
